New Jack Swing Hall Of Fame:
Tony Terry

With his two biggest hits being 1991's "With You" and "Everlasting Love," Tony Terry warmed the hearts of R&B listeners across the US and around the world with his tender yet powerful voice. He had already made a promising debut in 1989 with the super-sweet "Forever Yours" single and album before is self-titled sophomore effort. This album also included the hit, "Lovey Dovey."

Before launching his solo career, Terry was a backup singer for Sweet Sensation and The Boogie Boys.

In 1994, Terry released Heart Of A Man, but the album failed to achieve the kind of success his previous two efforts had.

Tony Terry released an album entitled My Best in 2001, before leaving the secular world behind entirely. Since then, he has participated in gospel plays and has re-emerged as a Christian music artist.
