New Jack Swing Hall Of Fame:

Produced by Full Force, this female New Jack quartet enjoyed some success with their first single, "Why Can't You Come Home" in the fall of '91, and would go on tour with then exploding hip-pop phenomenon, Marky Mark & the Funky Bunch. Ex-Girlfriend recorded two albums before making their exit.

Before their debut album was released however, Ex-Girlfriend made their debut singing the distinctive background vocals on Jasmine Guy's "Try Me" single. Their sound can be described as somewhat like later Hip-Hop/Soul act Brownstone, with a little more sass (think: TLC).
