Hall Of Fame: Alton "Wokie" Stewart
Little is known of Alton "Wokie" Stewart as of late, however he is best known among New Jack Swing die-hards as being affiiated with Timmy Gatling, and for singing background vocals on the Bell Biv Devoe ballads, "Tell Me When Will I See You (Smile Again)?" and "I Do Need You."
Raised in the Bronx, after releasing his sole album All Our Love, Stewart went on to produce for the likes of BBD (aforementioned), Keith Sweat, Jade, Ralph Tresvant, Christopher Williams, and Silk.
