The trio that made up LeVert consisted of brothers Gerald and Sean Levert (sons of Eddie LeVert of the O'Jays), and Marc Gordon. During the New Jack Era, LeVert scored with songs like 1987's "Casanova," and a flurry of ballads including "All Seasons" and many more. Members Marc Gordon and Gerald Levert also did some production work with their labelmates, Troop, producing tracks like "That's My Attitude." The two groups would work together again for 1990's "Livin For The City" remake/posse cut that was featured on the New Jack City soundtrack.
As the 90s progressed into the present, Gerald Levert emerged as a solo artist, and is still recording today.
