: RedHead Kingpin & The FBI

87Pictured in the middle with the sportscoat, RedHead's real name is David Guppy, along with DJ Wildstyle, Gicci Brown, and Bo Rock (a.k.a. Knowledge). The RedHead’s biggest hit was probably “Pump It Hottie,” a new jack treat. In 1989, Red-Head and his group made a song for Spike Lee’s “Do The Right Thing” that was passed over for Public Enemy’s more angry-sounding “Fight The Power.” The group quickly faded into obscurity at the end of the New Jack Era, but not before participating on Wrecks’N’Effect's (before they switched the spelling to Wreckx) first album.

RedHead did produce a track on Def Jam's "Rush Hour 2" Soundtrack entitled "No (You Didn't Say)" by Kandice Love.
