‘Although Tracie Spencer won Star Search at the age of 12, and released her self titled debut in 1988, it wasn't until 1991's "This House" that she approached true stardom during the New Jack Era. She followed up with "This Time (Make It Funky)" and the now classic "Tender Kisses." Tracie capped off her New Jack singles run from her Make The Difference album with the exquisitely tender "Love Me."
Throughout the 90s, Spencer was relatively quiet before releasing 1999's Tracie album. Lately, she can be heard doing background vocals on 50 Cent's Get Rich Or Die Trying and Eve's Eve-Olution.
